ABOUT THE BONNIE VIEW
Shelly Schmelter began as a floral designer working in her mother's flower shop when she was a teenager. She built her business doing trade shows and hosting annual holiday open houses held in her home.

Established by Shelly in 2004, The Bonnie View started as a home decor boutique in the small town of Hobart, Indiana. Over time, The Bonnie View has evolved into the luxury event florist it is today.
THE NAME
Shelly enjoyed childhood summers at her family’s cottage that overlooked a lake in Michigan. It was named “The Bonnie View”, because of its scenic and beautiful view of the lake.
"A 'beautiful view' is what I strive to give my clients through the artistry of my floral design."
